Required Documents for the Application

Your criminal history, if applicable.

The affidavit is a written statement to support an application for a work licence and it is used as evidence in court. A consideration for granting a work licence application is whether the loss of your licence will result in you losing your job. In relation to this, you will need to show that you and your family will not be able to live on the reduced income. Accordingly, these things must be addressed.

Your employer’s affidavit will outline something similar. Specifically, how long you have had your job, what your job entails, why you require a licence, and that if you do not have a licence, you would not be able to maintain the same hours, receive a pay reduction, and/or you would lose your job.
